    What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

    Types of cookies we use

Our on-site cookie banner groups cookies into four categories:

    • Essential — required for Steam OpenID sign-in, session and CSRF protection. Always on; cannot be turned off.
    • Analytics — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. The GTM script is loaded only after you grant Analytics consent.
    • Advertising — ad measurement and delivery cookies set by Google AdSense and by third-party ad partners (currently including ad slots served from relieved-understanding.com) loaded inside sandboxed iframes on pages such as Free Games and individual giveaway pages. Only loaded with your consent.
    • Personalization — tailors ads and content based on your activity, only with consent.

We also use a small amount of local storage for essential things like remembering your consent choice, UI preferences (filters, view modes, region/currency choice) and your sign-in session. This is not transmitted to third parties.

We register a service worker (/sw.js) to cache static assets for faster page loads and basic offline support. The service worker does not set cookies and does not transmit personal data.

Bot protection (essential): giveaway pages load Google reCAPTCHA v3 to score requests and block automated entries. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies and read device signals via Google. It is classified as strictly necessary and is loaded regardless of consent choice. See Google's Privacy Policy.

    Managing cookies

You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie settingsbutton at the bottom-left of every page — accept all, decline all, or pick categories individually. You can also clear cookies via your browser settings. If our categories change, we will re-prompt you so you can review.

For full details on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
